Mike Thompson and Bill Dodd on the 4th Dist. Assembly race

While I hear a lot of cynicism about things in Washington, I feel a lot of energy around our local races.  One of the most important, and certainly one of the most expensive has been the race of for 4th District Assembly.  Where Napa County Supervisor Bill Dodd is one of the candidates in the runoff

While all the candidates have been touting their endorsements, Bill has scored one significant endorsement, among the many, many that he has.  This is from Congressman Mike Thompson.

For a candidate running as a Democrat, who once was a Republican, that’s a big deal. And I think it speaks to the heart of moderation, that we should all be looking for today, in the business of governing.
