Thanks to good decisions by the County and City Councils throughout the Valley, MCE Napa County is now a community choice energy program, launching in the County and in all the Cities beginning in September.  Alexandra McGee fills in the details.

St. Helena Mayor Alan Galbraith recently responded to some outrageous claims and misinformation made in a letter by a local citizen’s group.  (All linked here.)  The Mayor sat down with NAPAbroadcasting.com to talk about both the financial and existential crisis facing the only city in Napa County not experiencing economic good times.  

As the debate continues as to what the Napa Valley should be and what the wine business is really about, it’s well worth listening to Jean Charles Boisset for whom the vineyards of Burgundy were his playground as kid and whose Boisset Family Estates is among the top 25 wine producers in the US.
